This part-time
role is to join a small team on a new package of care, assisting our client in Sheffield to live as independently as possible in hos own home and in the community. It requires 15½ hours per week on average

He is in his late 40s and has a brain injury, some physical difficulties and visual impairment. He's very sociable and loves friendly banter - especially about football and his beloved team, Liverpool FC. Apart from being keen on football and enjoying watching games in the pub, he enjoys time with his family and being in the sunshine.

Lately our client has become less inclined to spend time away from home and we are looking for a skilled support worker who can support him to get back to spending time doing the things he previously so enjoyed.

We have a vacancy for a full-time
female PA/Support Worker to assist our client living in an annex to the family home.
Shift hours are 37½ hours per week
- mainly Monday to Friday, but with one nine-hour weekend shift per month, and the occasional sleep-in duty.
Our client is in her 30s and has Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and learning difficulties. She is shy at first, has a great sense of humour and is very sporty. She plays Boccia and horse rides every week, and she's represented Yorkshire and Humberside in the Special Olympics. She attends music concerts, goes to the cinema, and likes swimming.
