Our charity page
As If you or someone close to you has experienced a serious traumatic brain injury, it can be hard to know where to turn for the right help and support. We hope the information on these pages gives you a helpful starting point.
You may also find it useful to explore the work of specialist charities. Many of them offer guidance, resources, and support for people in similar situations, and we have listed some of these organisations below.
At Northern Lifetime, supporting our community is important to us. We make regular donations to local charities and actively support the fundraising efforts of our staff — whether through direct contributions or sponsorships.
In the past, we have sponsored clients directly in their projects to raise funds for their chosen charities, such as Toby Henderson Trust, and
Headway. We have also sponsored colleagues undertaking varying endeavours to raise funds for charities including
Brain Research UK and Day One Trauma Support.
As a business, we also make charitable donations directly. We were proud to take part in the Christmas 'Charity Stars for Steps' appeal in December, where Northern Lifetime sponsored an illuminated star on the side of the Steps Rehabilitation centre in Sheffield.
You'll find advice and info aimed at parents and siblings too, plus targeted resources relating to schooling and e-learning, courses and events, and helpful listings by region of the country.
